Kübra Keskin Ökmen, who graduated from Bilkent University in 2017, is the founding lawyer of KK Legal Law Firm. Kübra started her legal career at leading law firms in Türkiye. During her legal internship period, she took an active role in the litigation and consultancy departments and gained deep knowledge and experience in commercial law, labor law, and enforcement law. During this period, she completed her master’s degree program in Human Rights Law at Galatasaray University and wrote her graduation project under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Zeynep Özlem Üskül Engin on the “Right to be Forgotten,” which was still a new right at that time and of great importance in the ever-evolving information technology world.
Mrs. Keskin Ökmen has practiced technology, media, and telecommunications law at leading law firms in Türkiye and advised some of the world’s leading technology companies. Her extensive experience in this field has provided her with in-depth knowledge in many different areas of law such as personal data protection, fintech, electronic communications, geographic data, electronic commerce, internet law, digital media, crypto assets, and artificial intelligence.
She is an active member of the Istanbul Bar Association’s Information Technology Law Commission and regularly broadcasts contents and commentary on current legal developments in the field of technology law.
